Invisalign before and afters
If you're wondering whether orthodontic treatment can really make a difference, simply take a look at these images below. All of these patients were treated with Invisalign and as you'll see, it worked!
This patient had extremely crowded teeth and hated smiling before visiting The Invisible Orthodontist. Using Invisalign, we were able to correct her bite problems and straighten her teeth to get a beautiful result – she now loves to smile!
The upper teeth should fit outside the lower teeth like a lid on a box. If the upper jaw is too narrow, the lower jaw usually swings to one side to allow the back teeth to touch together. Bites like this can cause unnecessary stress and wear on the teeth. Invisalign is a fantastic way to correct cross bites of all levels of severity.
Invisalign can be used in conjunction with restorative dentistry. Severely worn teeth can be aligned before veneers are placed to create a stunning smile.
Narrow smiles are a common complaint from our patients. Along with narrow smiles, we usually have crowded teeth and associated bite issues. Invisalign is great at expanding the smile, which creates space to correct the crowding and crossbite.
Gaps between the teeth can be a health concern as they can trap food and if the area is not brushed or flossed thoroughly, decay can occur. Widely spaced, gappy teeth are not a problem for the technology of Invisalign.
An overbite occurs when the top teeth cover the lower teeth which can cause excess wear on the front teeth and unevenness. Invisalign can open bites which reduces the risk of fractured teeth, damaged tooth nerves and eventual tooth loss
Invisalign can be used to move and align teeth before the placement of an implant. If teeth are missing, or require replacement, we can work with your dentist to create the ideal treatment plan just for you.
Similar to an overbite, an overjet occurs when the upper teeth protrude ahead of the lower teeth, resulting in a less than ideal bite relationship. Invisalign, sometimes in conjunction with elastic bands, can improve the bite relationship at the same time as correcting the alignment of the teeth.
