I am a registered Orthodontic specialist and a full member of New Zealand Association of Orthodontists (NZAO). After completing my Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago in 2003, I worked as a general dentist from 2004 to 2006 in the Manawatu & Wanganui region. I returned to Otago in 2007 to undertake the specialist Doctorate program in Orthodontics, including research into advanced .I have also passed the membership examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
I am originally from Taiwan, but came to New Zealand as a 17 year old initially to complete my high school education. I quickly fell in love with both the country and the friendly people so decided to stay. My husband however is a fourth generation Taranakian, and together we have a son and daughter, so my roots are now firmly planted in this province. In our spare time we love to take advantage of the fabulous outdoors that the region offers from the mountain to the surf. I couldn’t be happier to have found myself here and just love meeting new people. So if you have any concerns for either your child or yourself I would be thrilled to see if I can help.
